More DC Day 5: American History Museum and Natural History Museum

Refreshed and rejuvenated after a lovely lunch, we “museumed on”. Next up? The American History Museum and the Natural History Museum. Yep, both. In one afternoon. How’d we do it? There’s an app for that! The free Smithsonian app provides a highlights section complete with location, details, and pictures of the best and most popular exhibits. Over breakfast, I read the lists to the girls and they chose of couple of things in each museum they wanted to see. The Smithsonian museums were free but not our favorites. The buildings show their ages and the collections while vast are void of a narrative. It felt like we were just seeing things. Lots and lots of things. Here are our highlights.
