The Jamaican Archer
Aspen and Oakley weren’t the only ones to go to camp this summer. Little Lou attended at Camp Whippoorwill, a local farm day camp, the first week that her sisters were away. As you can see below, she thought it was “graet!”
The week culminated with the Whipporwill Olympics on Friday. Lou was placed on Team Jamaica and was told to create a uniform to wear on Friday. Here’s what she came up with:
As the only Bear Cub (rising 1st grader) to get 2 bulls’-eyes, she was awarded the gold medal in archery along with 2 feathers for her “Bulls’-eye Brave” headband. She also won a silver medal in the Fun Run. Not bad for the the only girl to race! And not a bad way to spend the week.
