On Cleats and Confidence
An excited Lou, trying on her very first pair of cleats: “I can’t wait to play soccer this fall and score lots of goals!”
Her older, wiser sisters: “Soccer isn’t all about scoring. It’s hard to score. And there will be lots of good players in your league.”
Lou, completely unfazed: “Yeah, I know. I’m one of them!”
